We add and change pages on Wix sites, fix them, look after them, and move them to WordPress when Wix stops fitting what the site has to do. Every Wix job is quoted after we have looked at the site.
We are DistroCode, a US company, building websites since 2017. We work on Wix, Squarespace and WordPress, so we can tell you when staying on Wix is the right call and when it is not.
Three kinds of job.
A form that stopped sending. A page that falls apart on a phone. A section that will not line up. Send us the page address and what you see on it, and we find the cause before we change anything.
If we cannot fix it, you do not pay for that job.
Changes and checks on a site that is already live: new pages, updated text and images, and a look over the forms after a change. Upkeep is quoted per job.
Our monthly care plans, $99 and $229 a month, are for WordPress sites only.
When the site needs something Wix does not do well, we rebuild it in WordPress. More on how that works is below and on our website migration page.
Because Wix hosts it and runs it. Wix says a site “needs to be hosted and operated on Wix’s servers” (Wix Help Center, checked October 10, 2026).
That cuts both ways. There is no server for you to look after, and no software for you to update. It also means we work inside Wix, with the tools Wix gives us, and we cannot copy the site out as files.
Your domain is a separate thing. Wix lets you connect a domain that you bought and manage with another provider. So before any move, we check where your domain is registered.
In five steps.
A move to WordPress runs on its own six steps, listed on the website migration page. The old Wix site keeps running until you have seen the new one and said yes.
Stay on Wix if its built-in tools cover what the site has to do. You edit it in the browser, Wix keeps it running, and fewer things can break.
Move when they do not. WordPress lets you choose the host and the plugins, so a store with its own rules, a members area or a feature built to order fits there more easily. The trade is that updates become your job, or the job of whoever you hire.
A Wix move is a rebuild, not a copy. We copy the text and images across, build the pages again in WordPress, and match the layout as closely as WordPress allows. Before the move we list every page address on the old site, so each one either works or redirects to the page that replaced it.
If you are unsure, tell us what the site has to do. We will say which platform we would pick for that, and why.
There is no Wix project on our Work page yet, and we will not pretend otherwise.
What you can see is how we work. The website migration page sets out the address list, the checks we run before the switch, and the written note you get at the end. Our Work page shows 17 client projects on Squarespace, WordPress, Laravel and React.
These are our limits on Wix work. Read them before you ask for a quote.
Yes. We fix and look after Wix sites, and we can move a Wix site to WordPress.
No. A Wix site cannot be moved as files, because Wix says it has to run on Wix’s servers. Moving off Wix means rebuilding the site somewhere else, and we rebuild in WordPress.
Not at a set price. Our $99 and $229 monthly plans are for WordPress sites. Regular Wix upkeep is quoted per job, after we have looked at the site.
Your domain name can come with you. Wix lets a site use a domain bought and managed with another provider, so we check where yours is registered before we plan the switch.
We cannot promise rankings. Moves off Wix usually change page addresses, because WordPress builds its addresses its own way. So we list every old address before the move and make each one work or redirect to its new page.
If a problem looks outside what we can fix, we say so before we start. If we start and cannot fix it, you do not pay for that job, and you still get a note on what we found.
